Chris Brashear is an exceptional and colorful instrumentalist, a charismatic singer with a high, clear voice, and a songwriter who portrays contemporary life with old-time flavor. Chris currently performs with the bluegrass band Perfect Strangers, as a member of Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group and Chris Brashear and Peter McLaughlin.
Chris's jazz forays include 2 years playing violin with the Maurizio Geri Swingtet (Italy), and as a member of Jazz Sketches.
Chris Brashear and Peter McLaughlin have released their second recording entitled So Long Arizona. The CD features new songs written by Chris and Peter. Guests include Todd Phillips, Tom Rozum, Jim Watson, Neil Harry, Jody Stecher and Kate Brislin.
